Migration and the history of the Pacific has been a peculiar topic especially when it comes to theories of how the Pacific was populated. From from drift voyages to Lapita sites there are valid theories in search for an explanation.
Many islands share many similarities, cultures and even language. For me the name Tokelau bears many things but of interest is its history rooted in central Polynesia and its possible significance in providing clues in explaining the Pacific migration.
Fact or fiction you may possibly ask yourself, however this journey is to discover answers and God willing they will be. I know that many of you will ask questions and please feel free to do so. I will use this site to provide updates and links and hopefully we will all enjoy the discussions and contributions in this forum.
Thanks Damian for making this project come alive and to Keli Kalolo, scholar, artist and composer of Tokelauan traditional culture and knowledge.
